I live in an apartment in Shawano, Wi. I have been in Shawano for 42 years. In the 1970's I lived in Ripon, WI. Wouldn't get a second place. If I had one tho, it would look like the house I grew up in. I sold the house and it is being remodeled and I enjoy driving by to see the improvements being made.

Occasionally have e-mailed Char but don't get back to Omro very often.

I went to UW-O and graduated and taught school for 3 years in Wisconsin Rapids. Didn't care for teaching and went to Moraine Park Technical Institute for LPN training and was a nurse for over 20 years. I figured I would get in nursing some day but wanted to try other things first.

Travel to Texas and West Virginia.

I like to work on genealogy and have met lots of distant relatives through the internet researching the family. I still like to read history and biographies, archaeology etc.

I traveled a lot some years ago. Lately I haven't but plan to take some travel trips this year.

I like to decorate. I even redecorated the apartment I live in. I love estate sales and go to most of them around Shawano. I get pots and pans etc for my cousin's kids when they get apartments.

Got back to Omro 2 times this month and say the remodeling on the house I grew up in. It is near completion. Drywall and insulation in every room, a washer and dryer upstairs, green and yellow exterior paint. It is just beautiful.

I get back to Omro at times. Much of the family left the area and we are really scattered around Wisconsin. I don't think I will move back but enjoy my visits to Omro.

Wouldn't do things much differently. I felt I took the right subjects to prepare for nursing. I might have gotten in some extracurricular activities.
